Home Credit Vietnam, in collaboration with Phu Nu Thu Do newspaper, recently launched the 2025 “Financial Literacy for Families” series in Hanoi.

The program, which is part of the Home for Life initiative, focuses on equipping women with essential financial skills to help them with household economic decisions. Through relatable stories and practical guidance, participants learned how to budget effectively, save wisely, use loans responsibly, and avoid high-risk lending traps, strengthening their confidence in managing personal and family finances.

Beyond knowledge-sharing, the program also marked 10 years of partnership between Home Credit Vietnam and Phu Nu Thu Do newspaper in supporting disadvantaged women through 0% interest microloans to grow their livelihoods. Each year, the initiative allocates around VND 100 million to help women start small businesses, preserve traditional crafts, or invest in farming and animal husbandry.

Up to now, hundreds of women from various districts such as Ba Vi, Gia Lam, Dong Da, Long Bien, Dong Anh, Bac Tu Liem, and Thanh Xuan have benefited from this fund. It has enabled them to expand production, revive family craft traditions, and create sustainable income sources. Many have built stable livelihoods in their hometowns, raised their children well, and nurtured happy families.

Looking ahead, Home Credit Vietnam remains committed to supporting women in Hanoi in their economic development journey, contributing to gender equality and long-term sustainable development.
