Ho Chi Minh City, 22nd September 2026 – Herbalife Vietnam, a premier health and wellness company, collaborated with the Vietnam Paralympic Committee (VPC), to hold a sports nutrition and performance workshop titled "Sports Nutrition in Training, Competition, and Recovery". The workshop was led by Dr. Vipada Sae-Lao, Nutrition Education and Training Lead – Asia Pacific at Herbalife and a member of the Herbalife Dietetic Advisory Board. This initiative is part of Herbalife's long-term partnership with the VPC since 2012 to support Vietnam's para-sports through nutritional product sponsorships, athletic knowledge sharing, awards, and performance incentives.

The training session was conducted both in person and online for athletes, coaches, and sports officials from the VPC. The training focused on integrating advanced nutrition science into the preparation, active competition, and recovery cycles of para-athletes. Dr. Sae-Lao shared practical and science-based insights tailored to the unique physical demands and training intensities of different sporting disciplines.

• Energy and nutritional requirements for athletes during training and competition phases.
• Nutritional guidelines before, during, and after physical activities.
• Proper hydration and electrolyte replenishment management.
• Nutrition strategies to support the body's recovery process.
• Dietary adjustments aligned with specific sport types, exercise intensities, and personalized needs.
• Practical considerations for athletes during daily training, competitive events, or long-distance travel away from home.
