Vina Kraft Paper Co.,Ltd, located in Binh Duong, was established in January 2007 and started up commercial run in the second quarter of 2009. Vina Kraft is a joint venture  between SCG and Rengo. SCG is one of Thailand’s and ASEAN’s leading industrial groups in petro chemical, paper, cement, building materials and distribution and Rengo is the largest corrugated box supplier and a leading containerboard producer in Japan.

3G policy

Together with long time experience of both SCG and Rengo in paper and packaging industries, Vina Kraft is capable of producing a broad range of high quality packaging papers including Pulp-top liner, Testliner and Corrugating Medium which can well fit domestic customers’ demand and substitute imported paper into Vietnam.

Green Products” are products that are environmentally-friendly in the materials they require and do not cause pollution during and after usage. There must be, moreover, a mechanism for buying back the used products and recycling them to produce new products. Packaging paper of Vina Kraft is a good example of green products due to the fact that over 95 % of the fibrous raw materials is recycled paper or waste paper.

“Green Process” refers to all operations in the production process. Each process must be environmentally and socially responsible and use natural resources as wisely as possible to ensure low levels of consumption, high levels of recycling, and optimal management of by-products and waste from production. Vina Kraft has invested substantially in a high efficiency paper machine, effluent treatment plant and a power plant in order to assure the optimal usage of raw materials, water and power as well as to assure the quality of effluent and emission. Furthermore, after already received ISO 9001 (Quality Management Certification) in January 2012, Vina Kraft Paper  also apply TQM (Total Quality Management ), TPM ( Total Productivity Management ), ISO 14001 ( Environmental Management) , OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) in order to continuously improve our product quality, production process and reduce cost by consuming less resources as well as reducing pollution.

Vina Kraft Paper also instill the concept of “green mind” to all of our staff so that they will have awareness and commitment to protect and preserve the environment. At the same time, we also encourage our suppliers to be more environmentally friendly by purchasing raw materials and services from those who have implemented good systems.

Protect environment

A way sophisticated Effluent Treatment Plant which is designed for treatment of waste water to level A standard, consists of physical Biological treatment and chemical treatment before discharging to the trench prepared by My Phuoc 3 IZ.

In addition, Vina Kraft Paper continuously studies to reduce consumption of natural resources such as fresh water and energy in accordance with the company ‘s philosophy, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability development.

CFB Boiler (Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler) is used for producing Superheated Steam which drives the Extraction Steam Turbine Generator. The extracted steam which passes through the steam turbine, is supplied to production process for drying paper. After the process steam is condensed at Dryer rolls, the steam condensate water is pumped back to the CFB Boiler for generating steam again. This Cogeneration Plant is designed to get the high efficiency of energy usage.

Concerning the fuels usage, CFB Boiler is designed to use multi fuels, such as Domestic Anthracite, Imported Bituminous coal and Biomass. Biomass is a renewable energy source, for example, wood waste, bagasses, rice husk. Vina Kraft Paper also uses sludge from the effluent treatment plant and reject from the waste paper plant for burning in the CFB Boiler. This saves coal usage and reduces solid waste to landfill.

With Environmentally friendly design, CFB Boiler uses limestone (CaCO3) for controlling SO2 emission, and also has ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) to collect dust from flue gas with 99.9 % dust collecting efficiency.
